• 10 or more long twigs

• scissors

• glue (tacky, hot glue, or elmer's white glue)

• colored pencils / watercolors / oil pastels / crayons

• heavyweight paper or cardboard painted black or white

• white drawing paper

• leaves, acorns, pebbles, etc. (optional)
