Ceramics

Students ages 8+ will experience ceramics through hand building to create an array of useful, playful, and creative ceramic works of art. In this 1.5 hour class, children will explore the properties of clay as well as glazes. All materials and firing is included in the class. Please note no work will be finished within one class period, drying times and thus firing times vary and projects are returned upon completion. Clay is a beautiful process! Classes are carefully designed to allow students to work at their own pace while also incorporating the firing schedules and drying times of pieces.
