In honor of Earth Day on April 22nd, we have a very special Art+Nature Sesh, Saturday 4/17 from 10:30-11:30am. We will be making Nature Splatter Prints! We'll cut our paper into different shapes, flatten our collected plant material, and use items found around our homes to create expressive marks on our work.
In preparation for the session, please take a nature walk to collect stems, leaves, flowers, and twigs before the start of class! Flat ones are best.
Here are the supplies you'll need for this week's sesh:
5 or more pieces of small cardstock or watercolor paper
scissors
pencil & eraser
tempera or acrylic paint (any colors)
water
a spray bottle and/or a toothbrush (any old spray bottle and toothbrush will do - you're welcome to bring multiples of each if you have them)
3-4 small containers to mix your paint in
paintbrushes / water jar / drying cloth
tape
optional: glitter / hole punch / yarn / beads
